ABSTRACT:
Arylhydroxamates are provided having the structure ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is hydrogen, lower alkyl, aryl, lower alkenyl, cycloalkenyl, aralkyl, or ##STR2## wherein n is 1 to 4 and X is hydroxy, alkoxy, amino, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkylamino or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -dialkylamino.
