ABSTRACT:
Borated alkyl catechols can be stabilized by the addition of certain defined monoalkylamines.
Lubricating oils containing a borated alkyl catecholmonoalkylamine complex are effective in reducing oxidation, wear and deposits in an internal combustion engine.
