ABSTRACT:
A method of forming a concrete footing and laying a first course of concete block is disclosed. The method includes excavating a trench, placing a frame having longitudinal stringers in the trench and supporting reinforced steel from the frame. The frame stringers are leveled and a plurality of concrete blocks are supported on the stringers in spaced relationship. The trench is then filled with concrete to a level wherein the reinforced steel, frame and the bottom portion of the block and spaces between adjacent blocks are occupied with concrete.
