ABSTRACT:
A device and method for detecting environmental change of automobile windshield includes a plane capacitor having two electrodes disposed on a common plane on the inner surface of the windshield, and with a total area of said two electrodes less than 100 sq. centimeters. A sensor detection circuit is responsive to the change of capacitance of the plane capacitor to produce a control signal to control equipment work.
