ABSTRACT:
A resilient query is provided that is used to search for a desired element in a similar document. A set of stable elements is predetermined or chosen and an original sequence of elements representing an ordered list of elements in an original document is generated. The original sequence of elements is then used in searching for a desired element in a similar document. A second sequence of elements is built from the similar document and compared to the original sequence. From the comparison, the desired element is determined.
