ABSTRACT:
To provide a system and a method for providing information and a recording medium, by which communications cost and network traffic are reduced in a system which provides a plurality of pages including successive contents via a communication network. A story provider site100generates user ID for identifying a reader terminal300and reader information which includes information representing a last page, and transmits web page data segments based on the reader information together with the user ID to the reader terminal300concerned. The reader terminal300requests the pages with transmitting the user ID. The story provider site100transmits web page data segments based on the reader information corresponding to the returned user ID. The story provider site100updates the reader information based on the transmitted web page.
