ABSTRACT:
A connector with a lock mechanism is provided. The lock mechanism11comprises a lock arm3provided on an outer surface of a plug frame10A and a pair of supports5A,5B arranged near respective lateral ends of the lock arm3.The pair of supports5A,5B are formed integrally to protrude from the outer surface of the plug frame10A. A pair of torque rods4A,4B being fixed to the pair of supports5A,5B support the lock arm3on respective lateral ends such that a hook3A to be latched on a receptacle2may swing around the rods4A,4B. A forward portion30F including the hook3A is formed with a concaved portion A1of a forward slide mold3F. A latch face32of the hook3A is formed with a projecting portion B1of a backward slide mold3R.
