An organophotoreceptor that includes:(a) a charge transport compound having the formulawhere n is an integer between 2 and 6, inclusive;R1is an aryl group;R2is a sulfolanyl group; a pyrrolyl group; a tetrazolyl group; a benzotriazolyl group; a stilbenyl group; an alkylsulfonylphenyl group, an arylsulfonylphenyl; a pyrazolyl group; or group A, where A iswith the proviso that when R2is an alkylsulfonylphenyl group or an arylsulfonylphenyl, R1may be hydrogen, an alkyl group, or an aryl group;X is an alkylene linking group as described in the specification; andY is a bond, C, N, O, S, a —(CH2)p— group where p is an integer between 0 and 10, an aryl group, a cycloalkyl group, a cyclosiloxyl, a heterocyclic group, or a CR7group where R7is H, alkyl group, or aryl group;(b) a charge generating compound; and(c) an electrically conductive substrate.
