ABSTRACT:
A cable connector assembly (1) includes an insulative housing (21), a number of contacts (251) received in the insulative housing, a cable (3) including a number of wires (30) each including a conductive core (32) electrically connecting with a corresponding contact and a shielding braid (33) surrounding the conductive core, at least a shield members (24) mechanically and electrically connecting with the shielding braid of the cable, and a shell (20) retained to the insulative housing. At least a shield member includes a leg portion electrically connecting with at least a contact.
