ABSTRACT:
In a hydrogen concentration detecting method of detecting whether the hydrogen concentration is equal to or higher than a reference concentration; using a hydrogen detecting apparatus1comprising a detecting element4made of a hydrogen absorbing alloy, a microheater2, a substrate3, and a strain gauge6, where the operation of the microheater2is halted during a normal state; however, once the strain gauge6detects a volume change of the detecting element4, the microheater2starts heating the detecting element4.
