ABSTRACT:
In response to a connection request from a terminal, a base station transmits to the terminal a signal instructing a reception operation appropriate to the transmission operation of the base station. According to this instruction signal, the terminal selects and executes an optimal reception operation. Moreover, the terminal gives its reception operation information to the base station in advance. According to this reception operation information, the base station transmits a reception instruction operation to the terminal. These processes are realized by software using DSP (12, 14) or the like.
