ABSTRACT:
The liquid crystal display device has a structure having substrates200and300adhered to each other by a sealing material110with a predetermined gap therebetween and having liquid crystal160enclosed in the gap. On an opposing surface of the substrate200,transparent electrodes214are formed, and on an opposing surface of the substrate300,segment electrodes314are formed. The common electrodes214are connected to wiring350formed on the substrate300via conductive particles114mixed in the sealing material110,and the wiring350are each a laminated film of a transparent conductive film354composed of the same conductive layer as that of the segment electrode314and a low-resistance conductive film352composed of a low-resistance material, such as chromium, having a resistance lower than that of the transparent conductive film354.However, the low-resistance conductive film352is formed at an area other than the portion connecting with the conductive particles114.
