ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to tricyclic aromatase inhibitors, their preparation and their use in a pharmaceutical preparation.
The compounds according to the invention possess the general formula I ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 independently of one another denote H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, OH, CN, CF.sub.3, NO.sub.2, an amino group which is unsubstituted or substituted by alkyl, an NHacyl group, carbonamide or a free or esterified carboxylate group;
