ABSTRACT:
A receiver in which, when a picture of television broadcast demonstrated on a picture display device is to be printed, the picture selected by the user can be checked without intermission of pictures of television broadcast. When a command for printing a picture demonstrated on a display monitor3is inputted from a command input unit29, picture data held by the frame memory27is outputted as printing data from a print data outputting unit30. The picture data held by the frame memory27is synthesized to data of the next picture supplied from the picture color signal circuit unit24. The resulting synthesized picture data is outputted as display data from a display data output unit25. The display monitor3generates e.g., a picture-in-picture type slave image plane in which to display the print image.
