ABSTRACT:
At a beamformer with at least two acoustical/electrical converters (M1, M2) the outputs (A1, A2) thereof are operationally connected to a beamformer unit (12). There signals dependent on signals (S1, S2) arising at said outputs (A1, A2) are co-processed to result in a beamformer output signal (Sa) dependent on both output signals of the converters. Frequency roll-off of the output signal (Sa) is counteracted by establishing a gain mismatch (10) of the two gains between the acoustical input signal (A) on one hand and the inputs to unit12.
