ABSTRACT:
It is an object of the present invention to share a projection unit which is a principal component of a rear-projection type imaging device and a chassis are mounted to thereby share a molding die of a base cabinet. Upper cabinets3are molded according to the inch size of a screen7. A chassis25is shared. A base cabinet5is molded with a common molding die, nesting dies are built in according to the width of an upper cabinet3and adjustment sections22are formed as a single piece on both sides of the base cabinet5. Adjustment sections22adisposed on both sides of a back cover6and a decorative panel26fixed to the front of the base cabinet5are molded separately so as to match the width of the upper cabinet3to the width of a lower cabinet4.
