ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to the use of 1,2 -benzopyrone derivatives for the treatment of susceptible malignant tumors in human beings. The derivatives used according to the invention are suitable for both preventive and also therapeutic treatment and they display in particular growth-inhibiting effect vis-a -vis brain-tumor cells and cells from human renal, prostate, skin or lung carcinomas.
