An electrical cord is juxtaposed along the length of the rod and is electrically connected to the router at a top portion of the rod and at a lower portion of the rod to a source of electrical power in the form of a battery pack or 110 volt service. The router mounts a fluted cutting bit having a length preferably of at least three inches, the bit adapted to laterally cut through a longitudinal axis of small diameter vegetation.
