ABSTRACT:
A vehicle carried metal object sensing system wherein sensing of magnetic elds of different polarity or of ferrous and non-ferrous objects results in distinctive colors on a cathode ray tube display. Deflection signals are generated in accordance with vehicle travel and field scan to provide successive frames of a map-like display.
