ABSTRACT:
In a disk drive for using a disk cartridge including a magnetic disk, a reinforcing arrangement is coupled to a main frame, a main board fixed to the main frame, and a head assembly which is movable in a radial direction of the magnetic disk. The reinforcing arrangement inhibits internal collision in the head assembly even when the disk drive is subjected to a mechanical shock. The main board and the head assembly are placed between the main frame and a cover which is opposite to the main frame.
