ABSTRACT:
A cam era assembly has a support that defines an optical axis. A traveler is reversibly movable along the optical axis, relative to the support, from a retracted position, through a plurality of intermediate positions, to an extended position. The traveler has opposed first and second contact surfaces. A guide extends outward from the support. The guide has a forward rest that faces the first contact surface and a rear rest that faces the second contact surface. The rests are each aligned with the optical axis. A biaser biases the traveler against the rear rest, when said traveler is in the retracted position, and against the forward rest, when the traveler is in the extended position. The biaser is spaced from the rests and the contact surfaces.
