ABSTRACT:
This semiconductor laser device comprises a semiconductor laser element10, which is provided with a Cr layer13and an Au layer14, a silicon submount20, which is provided with a Cr layer22and an Au layer23, and a metal base30. The surface of the semiconductor laser element10on which the Au layer14is provided and the surface of the silicon submount20on which the Au layer23is provided are directly joined together.
