ABSTRACT:
An independent electrical module26distributes an electrical signal to the terminals24of a fuel injector device in an engine. The module26comprises a self-supporting plastic lead frame28with copper ribbons30disposed on the plastic frame28. Pluralities of terminal connectors32are separate from and movable relative to the frame28for being connected to the terminals24. The ribbons30continue in a free and self-sustaining support portions31between the frame28and the terminal connectors32and are bendable for allowing movement of the connectors32relative to the frame28. Each of the connectors32includes a polymeric body defining a pair of the sockets36with an electrical contact38in each of the sockets36and a pair of the bendable support portions31paired with the contacts38in each connector32.
