ABSTRACT:
Disclosed are novel monolithic ceramic bodies of the structure SiO.sub.y C.sub.z, wherein y=1.2 to 1.6 and z=0.2-0.6. These ceramic bodies are derived from a modified hydrogen silsesquioxane resin.
