ABSTRACT:
A class of N,N',N"-trisubstituted bis-(p-aminobenzyl) anilines are found to be effective antioxidants in a broad spectrum of petroleum and petroleum related products. N,N',N"-Tri(arylmethyl) and tri(heteroarylmethyl) substituted materials of the parent compound are especially effective at concentrations as low as about 0.0005 percent by weight.
