ABSTRACT:
Compounds having the formula ##STR1## in which X is hydrogen, chloro or bromo; R is hydrogen or lower alkanoyl; R.sub.1 is lower alkyl, cyclopropyl or NR.sub.3 R.sub.4 ; R.sub.2 is hydrogen or lower alkanoyl; and R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are independently hydrogen or lower alkyl, are useful as herbicides, primarily for post-emergent application.
