ABSTRACT:
Substituted 1,3-diphenyl pyrrolidones of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 and R.sup.3 are halogen, trifluoromethyl, cyano, alkyl or alkoxy, R.sup.2 is H or halogen, and R.sup.4 is alkyl or haloalkyl, are useful as herbicidal agents.
