ABSTRACT:
A method for the degradation of methyl-tertiary-butyl-ether (MTBE) and tertiary-butanol (TBA) using a mixture ofPseudomonas putidais described. The method enables almost complete remediation of MTBE and TBA in situ in contaminated water and/or soil.
