ABSTRACT:
The present invention provides a reel having an engaging portion that can engage accurately with a braking member. A reel30has: a hub32,an extending portion36being formed at a peripheral edge of a lower end portion of the hub32; an upper flange38provided integrally at a peripheral edge of an upper end portion of the hub32so as to extend outward; and a lower flange40having a floor wall42to which a reel plate46is fixed, the lower flange40being welded to the extending portion36of the hub32. In this reel30,an engaging portion48is formed at the lower flange40,the engaging portion48engaging with a braking member60that is held so as to be unable to rotate at the case12at times of non-use.
