ABSTRACT:
Alkyl (C.sub.4 -C.sub.12), cycloalkyl (C.sub.3 -C.sub.8), and unsaturated hydrocarbyl (C.sub.3 -C.sub.10) esters of 2-nitro-5-(halophenoxy)benzic acids comprise a class of compounds that are highly effective pre- and post-emergence herbicides.
