ABSTRACT:
A two-stage process is provided whereby in the first stage light olefins are converted over a shape selective acid catalyst to gasoline and distillate liquids which are then converted in a second catalytic stage under milder conditions over a small crystal acid catalyst to yield lube range products having superior viscosity index properties.
