ABSTRACT:
A method of forming a fluorescent screen for a color CRT, by exposing a photosensitive film on the inner surface of a curved panel, to form color stripes with different stripe widths. A flat mask is used, with slits aligned with the curved panel. The spacing of the mask and the width of the slits are controlled to produce a predetermined pattern factor F according to the expression: ##EQU1## where A is the width of the slits in the mask, b is the distance between the mask and the panel surface, and .lambda. is the wavelength of the exposing light.
