ABSTRACT:
A method and apparatus for refining elemental sulphur and hydrogen gas from H.sub.2 S is disclosed. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and apparatus for vapor phase electrolysis of H.sub.2 S gas using a molten polysulfide electrolyte disposed in a matrix.
