ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to tricyclic pyrrole derivatives useful as 5-HT selective agents of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 to R.sup.4 are, independently, hydrogen, halogen, lower alkyl, phenyl, cycloalkyl or lower alkoxy and R.sup.2 additionally is lower alkoxycarbonyl, acyloxy or mesyloxy;
