ABSTRACT:
Dual phase lock loops are used to provide a rapid switching, low power, low purious and fine resolution frequency synthesizer for various radio applications. The first phase lock loop provides for coarse frequency adjustment, and the second phase lock loop includes an arithmetic synthesizer for fine resolution.
