ABSTRACT:
An aliphatic polyester film which is synthesized from a glycol and an aliphatic polybasic acid having a melt viscosity of 2,000-100,000 poises at a temperature of 190.degree. C. and a shear rate of 100 sec.sup.-1, and having a melting point of 70.degree.-200.degree. C. The film is excellent in heat stability and mechanical strength as well as biodegradability when buried in the earth; and has low combustion heat than polyethylene and polypropyrene.
