ABSTRACT:
A process for the preparation amino derivatives of N-heterocycles comprises reacting a hydroxy-N-heterocycle with hexamethylcyclotrisilazane (HTS) and/or octamethylcyclotetrasilazane (OTS) and then with NH.sub.3, or a primary or secondary amine, especially in the presence of a Lewis acid.
