ABSTRACT:
Insecticidal agents substituted-benzyl .alpha.-C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl-2-naphthaleneacetates, are provided having the formula: ##STR1## WHEREIN R.sub.1 represents alkyl C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 ; R.sub.2 is H, --CN or --C.tbd.CR.sub.5 ; R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 each represent halogen or methyl; m and n each represent an integer from 0, 1 and 2; Y represents O, S or CH.sub.2 and R.sub.5 represents H or alkyl C.sub.1 -C.sub.4.
