ABSTRACT:
A method of processing seismic data involves the input of common depth point data for determination of obliquity of downward propagating energy. Data having known surface offset and travel time is then processed with interval velocities along the depth of survey to solve by matrix inversion for the earth elastic parameters at selected depths.
