A novel pharmaceutical preparation for the treatment of hypertensive disease and myocardial infarction, which comprises as an active ingredient, (1,1-dimethyl-3-oxopyrazolidin-1-io-4-yl)acetate of the following formula: ##STR1## and a pharmaceutically acceptable vehicle.
