ABSTRACT:
A new and improved alarm system for precluding a child from straying for automatically monitoring the presence of a small child within a radius defined by the length of an cable connected between the child and the child's guardian whereby an audible alarm is activated upon disconnecting or cutting of the cable, the cable having an electrical connector at one end removedly operationally connected to an electrical connector of a second wrist strap whereby electrical continuity is formed between the child and the child's guardian when wrist straps are worn and the cable is connected whereby breaking the continuity of the cable activates audible alarm circuitry worn by the child.
