ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to a photosensitive member wherein a photoconductive layer containing a N-cyanoimine compound represented by the following formula [I], [II] or [III] is formed on or over an electroconductive substrate; ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 -R.sub.13 are respectively a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a halogen atom, a nitro group, a cyano group, a substituted sulfonyl group or a carboxylate group; n is an integer of 0-4; Z is a residual group which forms a ring with the benzene ring; Z may have a substituent; X is an oxygen atom or N-CN.
