ABSTRACT:
A process for pigmenting polyolefins and rigid polyvinyl chloride, which comprises the use of perylenetetracarboxylic acid diimide pigments of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents an aliphatic or cycloaliphatic radical of at least 12 carbon atoms and R.sub.2 represents hydrogen or an aliphatic or cycloaliphatic radical. These pigments are exceptionally suitable for pigmenting polyolefins and rigid polyvinyl chloride.
