ABSTRACT:
A process for preparing a cis N-alkylperhydroquinoline comprising reacting a 3-chloropropyl N-alkylimine with a hydride reducing agent in a basic reaction medium at a temperature in the range of from about -20.degree. C. to about 25.degree. C.
