ABSTRACT:
Compositions for the treatment of inflammation of the skin containing from 0.01% to 10% by weight of an alkoxybenzoic acid ester of the formula ##STR1## where R.sub.1 is alkyl having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and R.sub.2 is alkyl having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, cyclohexyl, phenyl or benzyl, as inflammation inhibitor; as well as the method of skin treatment.
