ABSTRACT:
The invention is a pharmaceutical composition for oral administration to a patient comprising pharmaceutically effective amount of [3(R)-[2-Piperidin-4-yl)ethyl]-2-piperidone-1]acetyl-3(R)-methyl-.beta.-al anine, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; pharmaceutically acceptable amounts of a polymeric binder; and pharmaceutically acceptable amounts of pharmaceutically acceptable excipients.
The invention is also a process for making a pharmaceutical composition comprising [3(R)-[2-Piperidin-4-yl)ethyl]-2-piperidone-1]acetyl-3(R)-methyl-.beta.-al anine, which comprises the steps of
