ABSTRACT:
A thermoplastic molding composition is disclosed comprising (i) a thermoplastic polyurethane resin and (ii) an ionomer. The ionomer is a salt of a copolymer, having a weight average molecular weight of 1,000 to 200,000, of 70 to 99 percent olefin and about 1 to 30 percent of alpha, beta-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid. At least some of said carboxylic acid is neutralized by a monovalent counter-ion. The composition is characterized by its improved processability.
