ABSTRACT:
Cellular polyvinyl chloride products of good cell quality are made utilizing a lower fusion temperature than conventionally employed by incorporating in a polyvinyl chloride containing plastisol, which has a fusion temperature of from about 220.degree. F. to about 300.degree. F., an effective amount of a blowing agent selected from the group consisting of (1) a mixture of benzene sulfonyl hydrazide and 4,4'-oxybis (benzene sulfonyl hydrazide), (2) a mixture of toluene sulfonyl hydrazide and 4,4'-oxybis (benzene sulfonyl hydrazide), and (3) 4,4'-oxybis (benzene sulfonyl hydrazide) alone, and an organic base or oxidizing agent which acts as an activator for said blowing agent.
