ABSTRACT:
A wide-angle zoom lens system comprises, in order from the object side, a first lens group having a negative refractive power, a lens unit having a positive refractive power and a second lens group having a positive refractive power. The system performs zooming by displacing the two lens groups and one lens unit independently in the direction parallel to the optical axis while maintaining the position of the image surface constant.
