ABSTRACT:
A color photographic material comprising a light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer coated on a support containing a magenta coupler represented by general formual [I] or [II]: ##STR1## wherein, R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl, aryl or 5 or 6-membered heterocyclic group, R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl, aryl, 5 or 6-membered heterocyclic, amino, sulfamoyl or carbamoyl group, R.sub.3 represents an alkyl, aryl or 5 or 6-membered heterocyclic group having from 12 to 35 carbon atoms, R.sub.4 represents an alkyl group having from 2 to 8 carbon atoms or a phenyl group, and R.sub.5 represents an alkyl group having from 2 to 8 carbon atoms.
